Dr. Ahmad Al-Serri is an Assistant Professor of Genetics based in the Faculty of Medicine, Kuwait University. He obtained his BSc degree in Human Genetics with honors from the University of Leeds, UK. In 2011 he obtained both his Masters and PhD degrees from the University of Newcastle in the area of genetics. He has recently completed another Masters degree in Behavioural Science from the department of Psychology and Behavioural sciences from the London school of economics. Dr. Al-Serri has several publications in peer-reviewed journals related to the genetics of obesity, diabetes and cardiovascular disease. His current research interest is related to tackling obesity through the utilisation of both genetics and behavioural science."
