I am a Senior Consultant, Head of Paediatric Surgery Division, Department of Surgery at Sultan Qaboos University Hospital. An Associate Program Director of General Surgery Residency Training Program - Oman Medical Specialty Board from 2011 up to present. I am currently the President of Oman Surgical Society from May 2018 – date.
Graduated from MD, College of Medicine & Health Sciences, SQU1996 General Surgery Residency training at McGill University (Montreal) 2007 Fellowship Pediatric Surgery at University of Montreal, Canada 2009

Personal Background:
Outside of work, I am also a devoted mother for my 3 children (Mariam, 16; Maya, 8 and Murad, 18 months). I am passionate music lover, poetry and collecting stamps.
