Mr. Worrell is the founding principal of Worrell, Inc., a multi-national healthcare innovation consultancy with offices in Minneapolis, MN USA , Shanghai, China & London, U.K. Since 1976, Mr. Worrell Inc. has built a reputation for collaborating with client partners to translate market needs into successful product launches . Mr. Worrell provides an interdisciplinary approach to product development, utilizing customer research, design and engineering to create cutting-edge offerings for a wide range of clients.
Mr. Worrell is the inventor of CENSYS, a proprietary customer research process that is a predictive modeler of what customers will buy creating unique competitive advantage for his clients. Throughout his career Mr. Worrell and his company have been honored with numerous design awards. He has been an IDSA National Board Member. He served on the board of advisors of the College of Design and an advisor to the Innovation by Design Program at the Carlson School of Management, both at the University of Minnesota. He is a frequent speaker and guest lecturer on design and innovation as well as a frequent contributor of articles in numerous publications. He served on the 2004 AAMI committee on design and human factors and was named one of the 100 notable people in the medical device industry in 2004. Mr. Worrell was one of the founding partners of the Pelegrin Partners, a unique venture organization focused exclusively on increasing entrepreneurship in Minnesota by seeding and nurturing new companies in the life science and technology markets.
Mr. Worrell has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Industrial Design from Purdue University
